Scale-Up Plan
The Scale-Up Plan is a 12-month plan to grow volume, suppliers and cash without the business falling over.
Growth is where good small businesses break. Orders rise, so stock, deposits and freight rise first, and the money comes back last. One supplier cannot hold the volume. Quality slips on the batch nobody checked. You are busier than ever and tighter on cash than ever.
The usual fix is growth advice from a generalist coach — someone with a funnel, a whiteboard and no experience of a supplier missing a delivery or a container sitting at the port. That advice sells you more demand you cannot supply. We work the other way round. We test four constraints — supply, cash, quality and logistics — then build a 12-month plan with six dated milestones, so the growth you take on is growth you can deliver.
Price: $1,500 — fixed price. Turnaround: 7–10 working days.
The verdict you get: Closes with a clear GEB verdict — scale now, scale slower, or fix one thing before you scale at all — plus a confidence level and the constraint that breaks first. Not a data dump; a decision.
What you receive
- An assessment of 4 constraints: supply, cash, quality and logistics
- A 12-month growth plan with 6 dated milestones
- A cash view: what each step up in volume ties up, and when it returns
- A supplier plan — when to add a second source, and what to qualify before you do
- The single failure point most likely to break first, with the early warning to watch
Best for
- Businesses with proven demand and a supply chain under strain
- Owners adding a second or third supplier
- Anyone growing fast enough that cash is tight while sales rise
Not for: Not a rescue for a business already losing money, and not a funding application. This is commercial decision support, not a promise of growth, and not financial, investment or legal advice. If the business is in trouble now, start with the Turnaround Plan.
Natural next step: Funding Readiness.
Frequently asked questions
What do you need from me?
Recent sales or order volumes, your supplier list, lead times and a rough cash position. Approximate figures are fine; you set them out in the checkout questionnaire.
How fast is it?
Seven to ten working days.
What if we sell several products?
The plan covers the range, but the milestones follow the lines carrying the growth. We say plainly which lines to hold flat.
