Pricing and Margin Check

The Pricing and Margin Check works out the true delivered cost of one product in one market, what you can realistically sell it for, and whether the margin is worth your time.

The unit price looked good. Then came freight, duty, the customs broker, the platform fee, returns, and the money sitting in stock for four months. Plenty of sellers only learn their real margin after the first shipment lands, and by then the price is already printed on the listing.

A spreadsheet template from a forum is the usual answer, and it fails in the same place every time: it starts from the supplier's unit price and quietly leaves out duty, the broker, returns and the cash tied up between paying and selling. We build the landed cost to one incoterm, sample 25 live price points, and show you the margin that survives contact with reality.

Price: $1,200 — fixed price. Turnaround: 5–7 working days.

The verdict you get: Closes with a clear GEB verdict — the margin works, it works only at a different price or volume, or it does not work — plus a confidence level and the single cost most likely to move against you. Not a data dump; a decision.

What you receive

  • A landed cost built to 1 incoterm for 1 product in 1 market
  • Every cost line from factory gate to customer, including duty, freight, broker and platform fees
  • 25 live price points sampled, showing what the market will actually pay
  • Margin per unit and per order at 3 volume levels
  • A verdict with a confidence level and a break-even you can hold in your head

Best for

  • Setting a selling price before you place the order
  • Checking whether a deal is worth repeating at a bigger size
  • Sellers whose profit disappears somewhere between quote and bank account

Not for: Not a tax, customs or accounting ruling, and not regulated financial advice — duty rates and product classifications should be confirmed with your broker before you commit. It is not a supplier negotiation service. For what happens when the orders outgrow your cash, step up to Funding Readiness.

Natural next step: Funding Readiness.

Frequently asked questions

Which incoterm do you build to?

One, agreed with you before we start. We default to DDP because it shows the cost at your door; if you buy FOB or EXW we build to that instead.

How fast is it?

Five to seven working days.

Can you model more than one product?

One product in one market per check, so the cost lines stay accurate. Name a second in the checkout questionnaire and we will quote it separately.
