Most people do one of two things: trust the forwarder who wrote the quote, or post it in a shipping group and take the loudest reply. The forwarder is pricing to win your booking. The group cannot see your route, your volume or your terms, and half the people answering want the job. We check the quote line by line against current market rates for your route and tell you which charges are normal, which are padded, and which should not be there at all.
